Back to Commercial Waste Paper Recycling
NEWMOA initiated a Northeast Commercial Paper Recycling Project in 2009 to focus on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions tied to the manufacture, transport, and disposal of paper generated by commercial facilities. See Project Background for more information on the connection between GHG emissions and paper. NEWMOA held a Commercial Paper Recycling Stakeholder Summit in July 2010 to gather ideas for significantly increasing commercial paper recycling by generators; see the results of the Summit [PDF].
