Low Income and Disadvantaged Communities (LIDAC) Program

Low-Income and Disadvantaged Community (LIDAC) refers to communities that are identified as having a disproportionate burden of environmental and social challenges, often due to factors such as

· Poverty

· Lack of access to resources

· Exposure to environmental pollution

· High rates of asthma or other health issues

These communities are often left behind in environmental initiatives and require targeted support to address their unique needs and improve their quality of life. This includes communities that are marginalized or underserved and experience a disproportionate exposure to toxic chemicals where they live and work.
