Hazardous Waste - Hazardous Waste Training

Hazardous waste inspectors and other staff across the Northeast need ongoing training on new requirements, policies, tools, and procedures to stay current in their jobs. They are also interested in sharing information on state and federal regulatory interpretations. NEWMOA supports training activities for state hazardous waste program staff each year, including annual workshops, virtual meetings, and webinars. These activities are overseen by a Hazardous Waste Training Workgroup of program managers and staff. Most of these events are for NEWMOA members only, but occasionally NEWMOA hold webinars that are open to anyone.
