PFAS: Norlite Environmental Sampling

The webinar presented the results of a NYSDEC study of PFAS in soil and surface water in the vicinity of the Norlite aggregate manufacturing facility in Cohoes. The facility is permitted to fuel their kiln with hazardous waste and waste petroleum products as well as natural gas. For some period of time the facility accepted and incinerated AFFF.
