NEWMOA is partnering with waste management authorities in rural areas of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont to provide support and training on reducing food waste - specifically through food reduction, composting, and donation. The goals of this Project are to reduce food waste generation; increase recovery and donation of wasted food; and expand home composting of food waste that cannot be reduced.
