Request for Proposals: Mercury-Added Products Reporting - Infrastructure and Data Flow Project

On July 29, 2010, the Northeast Waste Management Officials' Association (NEWMOA) released a Request for Proposals seeking a software vendor to support a Mercury-Added Products Reporting - Infrastructure and Data Flow Project (the "Project"). The Project will promote compliance with state mercury reduction laws by manufacturers, distributors, and retailers; facilitate state efforts to assure compliance with these laws; and support the exchange of data between the Interstate Mercury Education and Reduction Clearinghouse (IMERC) Mercury-added Products Database, EPA, and possibly others.

NEWMOA sought a bidder to facilitate the:

  • Establishment of an Exchange Network node
  • Development of a Web-based electronic filing system for reporting and administration of mercury-added product information by manufacturers
  • Creation of a Mercury-added Products Data Flow on the Exchange Network

Proposals were due by September 27, 2010.

On Friday, October 29, 2010, NEWMOA selected enfoTech & Consulting, Inc. as the successful bidder.
