Rich Bizzozero has been appointed director of Massachusetts Office of Technical Assistance (MA OTA) and Executive Director of the Toxics Use Reduction Administrative Council. Formerly acting director, Rich has worked for MA OTA and the state's Toxic Use Reduction Act (TURA) program for more than 15 years, providing pollution prevention technical assistance to manufacturers across the state in a number of different industries. Rich has played key roles in several TURA initiatives and has worked collaboratively on many projects with other state and federal agencies. He has developed and led numerous trainings on regulatory compliance and pollution prevention for industry, as well as state and federal personnel. Rich earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Vermont and a master's degree in plant and soil sciences from the University of Massachusetts. |
