Fundamentals of Energy Efficiency and Water Conservation workshops held in April 2008 featured presentations from Massachusetts Office of Technical Assistance (MA OTA) staff, business leaders, consultants, and officials from water, gas, and electric utilities. The purpose of the workshops was to heighten awareness of conservation strategies and was intended for operations, production, and planning managers, as well as facilities; maintenance; and environmental, health, and safety staffs. Following the presentations, attendees met with MA OTA staff for open discussions or to pose specific questions pertaining to individual facilities. The workshops offered Toxics Use Reduction Planner (TURP) and Training Contact Hour (TCH) credits. |
