University Pilots Green Cleaners

| Project Description |
One of the oldest buildings on the University of Massachusetts Lowell campus is now a little cleaner and a little safer after completing a pilot program to introduce greener cleaning products. In partnership with the Institute's Surface Solutions Laboratory and Rochester Midland, which provided their EnviroCare line of products and equipment for the pilot, the substitution of the less toxic products resulted in no decrease in cleaning performance. The EnviroCare cleaners are still being used in 2003 in the building with the hope of extending the trials to other buildings on both of the Lowell campuses. |
