| Project Description |
P2 Week 2001 took place September 17-23, and the NEWMOA states undertook a number of coordinated regional activities for that week.
The P2 Week Workgroup selected "Shop for a Better Environment" as a theme for this year's activities in the region. This theme was chosen to capture the interest in the region in promoting environmentally preferable purchasing (EPP) as a critical P2 activity. The Workgroup undertook several projects including: development of a joint resolution on the regional theme that was signed by the state Environmental Commissioners and Directors and the EPA Region I and II Administrators; preparation of a template for a book mark that was distributed by the states to interested parties- the bookmark was designed to give users some EPP tips and advice on where to get additional information. |
