| Project Description |
Staff continues to actively participate in the SGP. The NYS SGP Framework Document was finalized and signed by stakeholders on September 20, 2001. A document outlining the "Role/Function of the Technical Review Board (TRB)" has been developed. The TRB is responsible for reviewing metal finishers' applications for placement/movement up/down the performance ladder. The Technical Review Board (TRB) received four applications from metal finishers for placement on the performance ladder. As of Summer 2002, two performance ladder certificates of achievement have been awarded. C. H. Thompson, Inc. (Binghamton) was awarded a bronze certificate, and Rochester Plating Works (Rochester) was awarded a silver certificate.
Four Metal Finisher/EMS Workshops were held in March 2001. The workshops were coordinated with local POTWs to increase participation. Over 75 participants attended these workshops. |
