| Project Description |
The Maine Department of Environmental Protection (ME DEP) is undertaking a junkyard initiative in conjunction with the passage of a law requiring proper removal and reclamation of mercury switches from automobiles. The DEP is planning to:
-organize trainings for auto salvage/junkyards
-draft Best Management Practices for the handling of hazardous fluids
-hold 10 "breakfast" training sessions for auto salvage/ junkyard operators. |
