NYC Energy Conservation/Electricity Mng

Organization(s) Environmental Protection Agency - Region 2
State University of New York at Stony Brook
Project Description This Progress Report provides a brief summary of the analysis and modeling tools used in assessing the interactions between energy supply-demand and environmental issues in New York. The report further outlines the progress energy models and assessments have made as well as what they plan to do. Most models, such as the EnergyPlus Building model are up and running but lack data. Little progress has been made on later tasks that would apply the modeling systems to selected New York locales. Financial expenditures and budgets are shown and a metrics table depicting the environmental impacts of the models and assessments is also presented.
