Chlorinated Solvents Workshop

Project Description The Massachusetts Toxics Use Reduction Act (TURA) Program identified chlorinated solvents as High Priority Substances and emphasized reducing the use of these chemicals. As part of the initiative, OTA and the Toxics Use Reduction Institute (TURI) hosted a workshop in June to discuss regulations on using chlorinated solvents and safer cleaning alternatives and to present information on companies that eliminated the use of chlorinated solvents.
