| Project Description |
The Environmental Virtual Campus (EVC), conceived by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and EPA Region 1-New England, helps colleges and universities understand how they can achieve compliance through an interactive web site that demonstrates environmental regulatory requirements for a typical research university. Between July 12 and August 18, 2003, the site received over 170,000 hits from approximately 2,500 visitors, including visitors from 20 different countries. This product was undertaken by MIT in connection with a settlement of an enforcement action. |
