Pollution Prevention at NH Municipal Garages

Project Description NHDES and EPA has conducted workshops for municipal garages throughout the state. Workshop topics included: what to expect during an inspection, floor drains, used oil management, pollution prevention and assistance resources. All workshops were well attended, averaging 25-30 participants at each site. DES partnered with the NH Municipal Association to organize the sessions.

NHPPP has performed on-site assessments at a number of DPWs around the state, and offers environmental compliance and pollution prevetnion strategies. Visit the municipalities webpage at www.des.state.nh.us/nhppp/municipalities.htm
