| Project Description |
On November 30, 2001, Massachusetts Office of Technical Assistance (OTC) hosted a workshop titled "Steps to Improve Fuel Efficiency". The workshop provided manufacturers and the Toxics Use Reduction Planners Association (TURPA) with information necessary to develop fuel and energy efficiency improvements as a preliminary step in their PAC planning activities.
The recent designation of polycyclic aromatic compounds (PACs) as Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic (PBT) chemicals affected many facilities in Massachusetts that needed to include these compounds in their TURA plans due in 2002. |
