Pollution Prevention for Machining and Metal Finishing, A Manual for Technical Assistance Providers, is a synthesis of existing work in machining and metal fabrication. The purpose of the Manual is to provide technical assistance providers with a single point of access for: an overview of the industry and what environmental regulations apply; an overview of what the P2 opportunities are; a detailed discussion of P2 in metalworking fluid selection, use, and management; and information on innovative P2 technologies that are used in machining and metal fabrication facilities. The Manual has been printed and is available on the NEWMOA website. |
