| Project Description |
Matt Donahue of Univ. of MA Lowell and NEWMOA led a half day Environmental Management System training session at the Maine DEP in the spring of 2001. This workshop introduced the EMS process to a wide representation of Maine POTW, Water Operators and DEP personnel. The facilitators reviewed the key elements of an EMS, a case study from the Lowell, MA POTW, and the benefits of incorporating an EMS at a water treatment facility. About 30 participants attended the workshop. |
