| Project Description |
In July 1999, Vermont small and large quantity generators and toxics users were required to complete the third round of three-year P2 plans. There were currently about 170 facilities subject to the planning requirements. The Pollution Prevention Planning Procedure document was revised for this planning cycle. In 1999, the DEC provided an EMS alternative to the three year plan. Facilities that were certified to ISO 14001 standards or have completed an EMS as a part of DEC's pilot EMS design and implementation training program could substitute this documentation for the plan under certain conditions. |
