Andy Bray provided an overview of recent upgrades to the “Pollution Prevention and Compliance Assistance Metrics Database Software.”  A Recording of the webinar is available in Windows Media Player (wmv) format.

This Microsoft Access-based database software application contains features for tracking program activities including:

  • working one-on-one with clients (such as on-site visits and research)
  • producing educational and outreach materials
  • sponsoring workshops and training events
  • responding to information requests

The database application also tracks the outcomes associated with many of these program activities, including environmental, behavioral, and economic outcomes.  Because each state's pollution prevention and compliance assistance program is somewhat different in the scope of its activities and its structure, the software can be customized so that programs can use only those components and the level of detail that suit their needs.
