The NEWMOA Waste Site Cleanup Training Workgroup selects priority topics for several trainings each year. Generally, NEWMOA organizes two or three technical workshops each year, as well as several webinars on emerging topics. For the day long workshops, NEWMOA staff develops the agenda, identifies technical presenters, and handles logistics and publicity. Generally, each workshop is held at two locations to maximize attendance. Workshops are usually open to local, state, tribal, and federal regulators, as well as consultants and others. Past workshops have covered vapor intrusion, chlorinated solvent sites, and greener cleanups, among other topics. Visit the Events page to access the agenda and presentations from these workshops and webinars. For more information, contact Jennifer Griffith at . | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
