States/EPA Brownfields Programs Winter Meeting

Each year NEWMOA sponsors at least one meeting between EPA and the state and tribal brownfield program managers and staff to share information and promote cooperation and coordination. This meeting is open to EPA, state, and tribal staff, and specifically invited guests only.

Topics for the Winter 2008 meeting include:

• greener cleanups - a presentation by EPA HQ and discussion
• expanding Massachusetts Brownfields Partners Program to other states
• state roundtable on sponsoring "all grantees" meetings, alternative financing mechanisms
• NEWMOA's upcoming training workshops
• and updates from EPA
