While Green Chemistry is becoming a more common, supported, and understood practice, it still remains a marginal consideration in chemicals research, education, and product design. What is being and can be done to make Green Chemistry become the norm for chemistry? What will it take for all chemistry to be Green Chemistry? Two webinars will look at different aspects of how we can move green chemistry into the mainstream. The first webinar of the series, State Perspectives on Promoting Green Chemistry, will look at how two states, Minnesota and Oregon, are taking to promote green chemistry- one from the perspective of environment and public health, and the other with a focus on economic development.
